Institute of Packaging Professionals Kenya (IOPPK)

The Institute of Packaging Professionals Kenya (IOPPK), as an education and training service provider to packaging professionals in Eastern Africa, aims to enhance knowledge around the fundamentals of packaging technology, the development process, machinery, and sustainability.

The institute is a member of the World Packaging Organization (WPO) and the African Packaging Organization, which both aim to improve the standards and skills of packaging by supporting their members, building packaging capability, and seeking to increase trade.

The IOPPK in collaboration with her Networks offers Certified Professional Packaging (CPP) programme under License and in collaboration with the Institute of Packaging Professionals, USA. It is a Mark of Excellence programme, which if the industry adopts, will increase global competitiveness in packaging of local persons to work anywhere in the world. The Diploma programmes, specifically Diploma in Packaging Technology are widely recognized by the packaging industry and are accredited by WPO, APO, the UK packaging society, and the Australian Institute of Packaging, IOPPK runs this program under license online and in person.

Internships are key for trainees and IOPPK undertakes to play a key role in providing as well as recommending trainees for internship acceptance.

Costs: - Short courses are booked and paid for in advance.

This covers all training materials and venue costs.
